One category or two?[]
I was thinking... If you type "cleric spells" in the search box, you are sent to category:cleric spells, but if you type "wizard spells", you get search results, and this category is not included in those results (unless you are logged in and have set your preferences to include categories in searches). Maybe instead of this one category, there should be a "sorcerer spells" category and a "wizard spells" category. It would seem odd to have two categories with the exact same articles and subcategories, but the two-category approach might make it easier for people to find what they are looking for. (I suppose redirects could be used instead of two categories, but I recall something about redirects to categories being bad for some reason.) Probably, there should be an acknowledgment of the duplication somewhere, but it might be an overall improvement. Good idea? (It would not be much work to implement this, as this category is populated by a template.) --The Krit 12:25, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Had what might be a better idea: Create the two new categories, but make them hidden so they do not clutter up the category lists. I'll give it a try and see what happens. --The Krit 13:01, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
