- Concentration checks are also made when casting a spell in defensive casting mode. The difficulty class for this type of check is 15 + spell level. The combat casting feat eliminates the -4 penalty if casting defensively within four meters of an enemy.
- When resisting a taunt, the check is an opposed roll.
