A dominated creature comes under the mental control of an outside agent. This is a mind-affecting effect. Non-player characters in this state becomes associates of the dominator and will fight and die for their dominator. Player characters dominated by outside agents are wracked with horrible mental anguish and are dazed. A character may dominate only one creature at a time.
The most common sources of domination are the animal empathy skill and the dominate person, dominate monster, dominate animal, and control undead spells.
Players may voluntarily release a dominated creature using the radial menu. Domination may also be ended by dispelling and by the usual counters to existing mind-affecting effects (lesser mind blank, mind blank, and greater restoration).
