Gold Cormyrian cobras, relatives of the black cobra, are rare. They are found in damp places, surviving often where other creatures do not. They are dangerous when approached and at times can be found in groups, though the reason for this is not known.

Notes[]
- Added in patch 1.69.
- Gold cobras were intended to enter stealth mode when then spawn, but the wrong local variable was set.
- Snakes are officially of the reptilian (humanoid) race, even though they are not humanoids (and would be of the animal race in D&D).
- The gold Cormyrian cobra is located under "Animals", "Other" in the creature palette.
