*The above feat description is misleading; Great cleave allows no limit to the number of ''cleaves''. This only works if each cleaving attack deals a killing blow. For example, a PC fights four goblins and an orc. Round 1: the PC kills Goblin 1, prompting the character to make a Great cleave. The Great cleave strikes goblin 2, and the damage from that attack immediately kills goblin 2, prompting the PC to make a Great cleave at goblin 3. That cleaving attack kills goblin 3, letting the PC make yet another Great cleave, this time at the orc. However, that attack did not deal enough damage to kill the orc, and the PC is not allowed any further cleaves.

*The above feat description is misleading; Great Cleave simply removes the limit to the number of ''cleaves'' per round. There is a common misconception that subsequent cleaves in the round are only possible if the previous cleave results in the death of an enemy, but this is not true.
