This snake's bite inflicts black adder venom and red ache on monster hit. In addition, it penetrates damage reduction as a +1 weapon.

- Great cobras were intended to enter stealth mode when they spawn, but the wrong local variable was set.
- Snakes are officially of the reptilian (humanoid) race, even though they are not humanoids (and would be of the animal race in D&D).
- The great cobra is located under "Animals", "Other" in the creature palette.
