Humanoids are bipedal creatures with the ability to communicate with each other and with other humanoid races using languages. As a general description, this encompasses many creatures. When dealing with Neverwinter Nights functionality (such as with regards to captivating song), only the playable races (dwarf, elf, gnome, half-elf, half-orc, halfling, and human), and the goblinoid, monstrous humanoid, orc, and reptilian races are considered to be humanoids.
