Description: This clumsy elven cleric of Sehanine Moonbow has traveled from her homeland in Evereska to the city of Neverwinter, only to be trapped within the quarantined city. She is searching for a holy artifact, recently stolen and last seen in the city.
She later traveled to Waterdeep to lend her aid during the attacks from Undermountain.
In the original campaign, Linu gives the player an amulet for completing her quests. These quests involve retrieving the following items:
- Chapter 1: Silver chalice of Moonbow (found in Meldanen's estate, near Meldanen in a closet)
- Chapter 2: Synth La'neral's jorunal (found in level 1 of the archaeologist caves, on a corpse between ogres and a sleeping troll)
- Chapter 3: Volcanic seeds (found outside the creator race ruins, north of the three altars, in a pile of rocks).
In the Hordes of the Underdark campaign, Linu can be found in a sarcophagus in the eastern part of level 2 of Undermountain. (There is also a fake Linu in the area, in reality a disguised rakshasa.)
Bugs
- As a crossbow is a two-handed weapon, Linu must unequip her shield to use it. A bug in the henchman AI causes her to neglect to re-equip the shield when switching back to her melee weapon.
