A Merchant or Store is a unique object in Neverwinter Nights which contains an inventory of items available for purchase. This greatly simplifies the buying and selling process. The merchant screen is a graphical user interface similar to the players' inventory so that items desired to buy or to sell can simply be dragged and dropped from player to merchant or vice versa. Stores also offer identification of any unknown item for the price of 100 gp.
