Notes[]
- To quickslot protection from good, right-click the quickslot and choose the spell in the radial menu. Dragging the spell from the spellbook to the quickslot will only place protection from evil there.
- An aura of fear counts as a mind-affecting spell-like ability.
- This spell is invaluable in a PvM setting where most monsters have an evil alignment, especially when saving throw auto-failure on 1 is not disabled.
- In a PvP setting, players often use this spell to protect themselves from both good and evil.
- For immunity to mind spells used by opponents of any (including neutral) alignment, see mind blank and clarity.
- If a potion of this spell is made (typically via brew potion), and if that potion is fed to an associate, then the associate is protected from evil.
