The server application is the main application used to run modules in Neverwinter Nights. This application (nwserver.exe) can be used in 2 ways:


Local Connections

Load The server is started in the background and a saved game is loaded into it so you can play on your local machine
New The server is started in the background and a module is loaded into it so that you can play on your local machine


Remote Connections

Load The server is started in the background and a saved game is loaded into it so that others can connect to it
New The server is started in the background and a module is loaded into it so that others can connect to it
Server icon When you want to host a game either on a LAN or over the internet then you must run the nwserver.exe application on your local machine so that others can connect to it
