Special abilities Edit

A shadow lord has immunity to knockdown and the usual undead immunities to critical hits, death magic, disease, level drain, ability drain, mind-affecting spells, paralysis, poison, and sneak attacks. Furthermore, this creature is incorporeal (which implies 50% concealment).

A shadow lord can cast darkness once per day at caster level 10.

Due to the presence of a special AI script (namely x2_ai_shadow), this shadow lord can forgo its regular attack to conduct a shadow attack. The intended chance of using a shadow attack is 1-in-3, checked each combat round, but a bug in the script prevents a shadow lord from making use of its shadow attack once it uses its regular attack (until the current combat ends).
