The Shadows of Undrentide campaign is the official campaign that was shipped with the Shadows of Undrentide expansion pack. Through this campaign, the player takes on the character of a student of Drogan Droganson who is thrown into a quest to prevent the potential conquest of Faerûn. It starts in the nondescript town of Hilltop, proceeding eventually to the vast Anauroch desert and the floating cities of Netheril. (Undrentide is one of these floating cities.) This campaign takes place at the same time as the original campaign and is intended for a new level 1 characters, not characters who had completed the original campaign. The campaign is designed to adapt to either single-player or multiplayer, and it is fully functional with or without a Dungeon Master. The designers estimate that it takes 20+ hours to complete.
