Special abilities Edit

A stink beetle is immune to mind-affecting spells and the specific spell stinking cloud.

This creature's attack inflicts vermin madness on-hit. In addition, it can cast stinking cloud once per day as a spell-like ability with a caster level of 3.

When a stink beetle dies, it releases a toxic cloud over a large (5 meter radius) area for two rounds. Any enemies entering this cloud — excluding vermin — must pass a DC 14 fortitude saving throw versus poison or be dazed for two rounds.

  • The death sequence is handled by the script nw_c2_stnkbtdie, together with the OnEnter script nw_s1_stink_a. (The standard creature death script is not called.)
