Interaction with the greater version[]

I'm removing the information about greater bull's strength removing the effects of this spell. For one thing, that is more information about greater bull's strength, rather than about bull's strength. For another, greater bull's strength is not on any class' spell list, making it relatively rare to encounter. So no need to add confusion to this rather common spell, right? --The Krit 07:08, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

  • Fair enough, but the note's purpose was to clarify how bull's strength works with another standard Bioware resource, and one that isn't especially rare in many NWN modules. - MrZork 19:34, April 14, 2011 (UTC)
  • That's "relatively" rare. ;) In order to have access to greater bull's strength, you have to be playing a module whose builder made that spell available from items (which probably means creating custom items, but I only scanned the standard potions and scrolls), and then there is still the question of how easy it is to acquire those items in that module. In contrast, to have access to bull's strength, one just needs a few (3-4) levels of bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, or wizard, or several (8) levels of paladin. In other words, basically half of all characters (well, half of all base classes, and every character has a base class) has access to bull's strength. Roughly speaking; within an order of magnitude.
Anyway, more than debating rarity of items, I wanted to add a note that instead of simply removing the information, I did end up moving it to greater bull's strength, aside from the parts that were already there. It is useful information, just better off in a different location. --The Krit 17:31, April 16, 2011 (UTC)
