Correct name of the spell would be Burning Hands. Right? -- Olivenmann

Burning hands is transmutation[]
This is correct AFAIK. --Countess Terra January 6, 2006
Note on polymorphed usage[]
I had put a note on burning hands to show that it could be used in the Azer Chieftain form of Outsider Shape. The note was simplistic and didn't fully illustrate that burning hands could be cast from a quickslot of the spell book using the caster level from the spell book instead of the defaulted caster level (usually druid level). I propose to readmit this note with more clarity. WhiZard 22:54, January 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, mentioning the quickslot ability would be good. Might be better off under outsider shape though (similar to the way the rakshasa form has a note about metamagic). That's a feature of the polymorph rather than the spell, isn't it? --The Krit 01:40, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Correct as long as the spell ID for both the spell in the book and the spell of the polymorph shape coincides, this phenomena occurs. WhiZard 07:20, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
