Striking[]
When it says "Any creature striking the caster takes 1d4 points of magical damage" does that means those that hit you or those that swing at you? Also, does it apply to spells, even if they fail to effect you? 72.224.162.224 20:40, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
- It applies to any normal melee hit or critical hit (not the touch attack or ranged ones). It does not apply to spells. WhiZard 21:26, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Taking a swing at someone is not the same as striking them, even outside this game. --The Krit 22:19, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
Wounding whispers[]
Why is Wounding Whispers not mentioned under "See Also" alongside Elemental Shield and Mestil's Acid Sheath? All 4 spells have the same basic function: damaging enemies that attack you. shrug just seems like an obvious link --67.2.27.153 10:31, 17 December 2011
- Wounding whispers is a bard spell. --The Krit 17:05, December 17, 2011 (UTC)
