DC rounding (general)[]
This is a general inquiry (the same algorithm gets used for other aspects of the game mechanics) and it may be covered elsewhere within the wiki though I haven't located it, at least not within the Saving Throw or DC articles) so with respect to Death Gaze it is as good a place as any for clarification.
When a metric (like DC) is based at least partially on a fraction (in the case of a bodak, it is HD=9/2), is the actual value rounded up or truncated (truncated like with an ability modifier, for example)? Using the bodak as an example, is the DC to be challenged going to be DC=14 or DC=15?
I am assuming rounding of fractional game values is handled the same regardless of the specific instance but I can find no documentation about the convention itself herein. Thanks, in advance, for any insight into this rather benign but all-encompassing detail. --Iconclast (talk) 15:17, June 7, 2014 (UTC)
