Very useful spell. It even works when you are unable to cast spells, such as from the effect of a beholder. The red dragon has breath ability and fear aura.
It has been a while since I played but I believe you can also summon creature IX or similar spell while the dragon is active. --75.6.188.118 5 November 2007
