Hierarchy[]

Can someone explain why the section on event hierarchy exists? As far as I can tell, it was written as a sketch of OSRS design, which at best means it should be moved to an OSRS article. However, I'm inclined to just delete the whole thing because of the errors it contains. There are no events associated with a framework, so why even mention that "level"? While areas are contained within modules as objects, area events are not extensions of module events, so the whole idea of an "orderly linear tree" falls apart. The object level is badly defined since modules and areas are also objects. The object level is meaningless in the context of events since there is no "universal" event that every object has.

The one good thing I can see is the mention of a framework, but nowhere is it mentioned that a framework exists to aid the integration of different systems, and I see no clear link that justifies it being mentioned in the event article.

Can anyone justify the existence of this section? If so, does anyone want to clean up the writing so it reads more like an encyclopedia article and less like technical specifications? --The Krit 03:02, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
