• I guess that abbreviation is better known outside the U.S.; Wikipedia even forwards "SI" to "International System of Units" as the most likely meaning. Article updated to give the full name and the name "metric", which is better known in the U.S.. --The Krit (talk) 21:52, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
