Spellcasting?[]
I am having difficulty testing this because I have no way to disable using the mode in my vanilla resources (I prefer not to modify any 2das). Custom environments have often been modified to prevent casting while in Expertise mode but is not that way by default (not in the Bioware modules, at least). I see no similar note regarding spellhooking in this article. I am wondering whether Parry mode is also possible while spellcasting and, if so, is disabling it (similar to Expertise disabling) a common change done for balancing of custom environments. TIA for any clarity or opinions. --Iconclast (talk) 14:51, June 30, 2016 (UTC)
- Sure, you could use the spell hook system to cancel any action mode when a spell is cast. No, I do not believe disabling parry is commonly done. Mostly because it's so hard to devise a situation where parry is particularly helpful. --The Krit (talk) 00:48, July 1, 2016 (UTC)
