Why is there a note comparing this spell to negative energy burst? --The Krit 18:41, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't make the note but I would assume its because both it and NEB decrease strength as necromancy spells (which might imply that negative energy is behind their effects). While NEB will raise the strength and heal undead (the reverse effect), ray of enfeeblement doesn't reverse its effect versus undead. WhiZard 19:16, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Isn't it possible that mentioning a connection that does not exist might confuse people into thinking a connection does exist? Maybe doing so would lead people to assume undead get special treatment if not mentioned specifically, when undead only get special treatment if mentioned specifically? --The Krit 19:25, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Haven't checked all the negative scripts, but the undead aren't always mentioned, even when scripted. WhiZard 19:56, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Looks fairly clean now (only found one spell lacking). I think the reference to NEB can be removed. WhiZard 20:51, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Cool. I guess give it at least a few days in case someone wants to defend the note (especially the anonymous one who added it)? --The Krit 23:01, September 12, 2009 (UTC)
