Werewolves are the most common of the lycanthropes, as well as the most complex, socially. While some lead solitary existences, others form complicated ritual-bound societies.
Weapons and armor with properties to combat shapechangers will work well against werewolves. Belladonna is a good temporary item to use for this same reason.
- Some modules offer the ability to play as a werewolf custom race or custom Druid or Shifter wild shape. In these instances, the player is usually subject to ability penalties during the light portion of an in-game day, vulnerability to bane weapons, and attack from NPCs while in werewolf form.
